Chapter 14

Crystal waves washed over the hard stones. It was cold and it was early Khushi walked over to the docks. Not a sole in sight as she walked over to the target practice rink she saw there was a note on the table. it read

"Pick up the gun and shoot me" She saw the pistole and in front of her there was a bulls eye. Slowly holding the gun her hands trembled these were things she wasn't use to doing at all. She held the gun loosely to shoot. Thoughts going on in her head. Reality hitting her hard she wasnt made for this field she wasnt for sure what was she doing with a gun in her hand she couldnt shoot she shouldnt shoot. She was honestly contemplating to keep the gun back down and run away run far far away from here go back to her tiny village in Goa. 

"Shoot!!" came the stern voice from the speaker. She looked back at the gun holding it straight at the target point afraid hands still trembling "Shoot!!" the voice got louder. Khushi still gaining courage to fire the gun. "You came out here to seek revenge from me" the harsh voice spoke through the speaker. "You call yourself a strong woman, Look at you what are you" Khushi's mind now filling with anger. "You think you could kill me. The Powerful ASR you cant even hold a gun" mocked the his piercing voice. 

Khushi's chest filling up slowly as the voice continued "Your uncle was lying dead on the floor that faithful night. his blood was all over the carpet and it was over your clothes. You couldnt do anything back then. You cant do anything right now. Your a coward Khushi, You are a child go back to that village of yours" 

"Bham!!"

"Bham!!"

"Bham!!"

three bullets darted at the centre of the red and white circles. Khushi fired the gun. Angry hot she looked at the speaker. Her breath heavy her chest full of heat her skin sweating her eyes red. She shot in rage taking deep breaths as she imagined her uncles corpse on the floor emotions pouring into her memories of that horrible night. 

"Lesson 1 Kitten always remember why you are here and what you are doing" 

Khushi looked at the speaker her eyes cold "why am I here" she asked in a low tone. "to take revenge from you" she answered it herself 

The speaker remained silent "instead of doing that i am making love to you and learning how to fire a gun." she left out a hollow laugh "Your the devil and you killed only person who I can call family and Here I am taking orders from you" 

Silence still in the air the wind was cold and the vibe was chilled. "You seduced me and made me forget why i am here, now all of a sudden you are reminding me of that horrible night. increasing my confusion" 

She put the gun down and walked away. Her heart pounding. 

"Stop"

Said the voice on the speaker and Khushi's heart raced she stopped. She shut her eyes jamming them tight her breath heavy. 

"Turn"he said in the same soft voice and Khushi didnt even know when her body performed the action she turned. Her eyes still jammed tight.

Suddenly she could feel a moist breath on  her face. It was his breath she knew his every touch feel breath smell. His eyes his lips even his hardness she knew all his spots but the only thing she didnt know was what he looked like.

Her heart pounding her body trembling the suns raise slowly rising into the morning sky. He was here he was there she could feel him. 

"Open your eyes" he said in a soft tone 

Khushi was shocked she remain still was this the day that she was finally going to see ASR what was going on. whats happening her eyes still jammed tightly afraid to open them. She didnt know which direction to go in. If she opened her eyes and saw him will the relationship be over between them or will it get stronger fear in her heart the shock of horror on her face her eyes still shut. 

He traced her lips with his fingers. His soft fingers played havoc in her head in her heart his love taking over her. he again said in a soft voice. 

"Open your eyes"

Khushi remained silent for a few seconds his breath still flowing on her. She asked in a soft voice "If" (pausing) "If I open them will you leave me and go away" she asked in soft voice laced with fear and pain. She at no cost wanted to him to leave and go. She couldnt afford that at all revenge or no there was an unspoken bond that tied their hearts to each other and she couldnt loose it at any cost it was almost as good as loosing her own life. 

ASR remained calm the silence was killing her from inside what was this man up to. 

"Open your eyes"
